Lane 2 · Membership & Certification

Members shape the standard.

ARIA members hold the seat at the table. They vote on the specification, access private threat intelligence, preview certification audits, and earn the right to mark their products ARIA Certified. Members compete on product. They cooperate on the spec.

What membership gives you

01

Threat Intelligence

Members receive the quarterly ARIA Synthetic Threat Brief 90 days before public release. New generation techniques, attack patterns, adversarial samples, and defensive recommendations — written by the working groups, not by any single vendor. Members may cite private ARIA threat intelligence access in their own communications.

02

Spec Voting & Drafts

Founding and Premier members vote on amendments to the technical specification. All voting-tier members access spec drafts before public release, participate in the comment cycle, and shape what conforming products must do. This is the seat at the table.

03

Certification Preview

Members submit products for confidential pre-audit feedback before formal certification. The independent academic laboratory reports privately on where a product would pass or fail, with no public record. Members de-risk certification before any external exposure.

04

Member Directory & Working Groups

Members access a private directory of all member organizations, working group calendars and recordings, draft documents, and a member-only technical forum. Working group chair positions and Technical Steering Committee seats are filled from the membership.

05

Co-Branded Mark & Priority Support

Members display the ARIA Founding Member or Premier Member badge on their websites and materials. The public certified-product registry links back to member organizations. Members receive priority technical and policy response from the alliance.

How membership & certification relate

  1. 01

    Join

Join as a member at the appropriate tier.

  2. 02

    Pre-audit preview

Submit a product for confidential pre-audit preview (Premier and above).

  3. 03

    Apply to certify

Apply for formal certification when ready.

  4. 04

    Earn the mark

Pass the independent audit; receive the ARIA Certified mark; appear in the public registry.

Audit fees are paid directly to the independent academic laboratory, not to ARIA. This separates certification revenue from certification issuance — no financial conflict between the alliance and the products it certifies.
